Frequently Asked Questions: Privacy Policy

Since the form that enables users to submit questions to the FAQ contains input fields for personally identifiably information (anme and e-mail address), the following policies are in effect:

Opt-Out

Neither the name nor the e-mail address field is required. Questions may be submitted anonymously if you so desire—but in that case, we will not be able to respond directly to you.

Use of Information Submitted

The name you provide via the "Name" field may appear on the site only if you also answered "yes" to the question requesting permission to do so. In those cases, the name will be used only in the context of the question submitted. Neither will it be shared with any third party or used to contact with you in any other regard.

The e-mail address you provide via the "E-mail Address" field will be used only to respond to your question. It will be deleted from the server thereafter (see "security") and will not be preserved on any on-line system. Neither will it be shared with any third party or used to correspond with you in any other regard.

The question you ask is not expected or required to contain any personally identifiable information whatsoever. Questions submitted become the property of ace-ten.com—which is to say that ace-ten.com reserves the right to use any information that is submitted in the "Question" field (only) in any manner we see fit.

Security

All information submitted will be stored in a directory that is not accessible to the public via hypertext transfer protocol or anonymous ftp. In effect, the only way anyone not authorized by ace-ten.com may obtain this information would be to hack into the site, so all measures taken to ensure the security of the site also serve to protect user submissions.

The log of user submissions is regularly downloaded and deleted from the server. Thought there is no regular schedule for doing so, it is expected this will occur around once per week. This means that the information you submit will be unavaialble even to hackers once the log has been downloaded and deleted.

COPPA Compliance

No measures are taken to learn the age of individuals who post to the site. it is the opinion of ace-ten.com that this is an unnecessary intrusion on our users' privacy

While the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 requires such measures to be taken by sites that can reasonably expect to be frequented by children under the age of thirteen, this requirement does not apply to ace-ten.com because casino gambling is not legally available to minors, hence should be of no interest to them.

Questions Regarding This Policy

Questions regarding this policy may be submitted via the "ask a question" interface itself. They may also be sent via e-mail to pitboss@ace-ten.com, however, none of the policies described above apply to messages transmitted via e-mail.
